Personal Branding Photography in NYC with Terry Eaton

Your personal brand is one of the most important factors a potential client will consider when choosing to work with your business. Many of us work in oversaturated markets and it can be such a struggle to differentiate! Your website may be effective in communicating your value, but clients also want to learn about the experience of working with you. Put a face to your brand and get clients who are enthusiastic about working with your business.

Terry Eaton is a fine art curator.

We began by doing a deep dive into his brand and reviewed all of his wardrobe options. Learning about Terry’s style allowed us to select locations in NYC for his personal branding photo shoot that would complement his aesthetic and his brand’s color palette. Our goal was to achieve uniformity and consistency throughout his messaging and strengthen his personal brand, providing him with valuable content for his website, marketing campaigns and PR outreach.

Take advantage of golden hour.

We scheduled our sessions around sunset to get the best natural light. This time of year, the sun sets just behind the Manhattan skyline from Dumbo in Brooklyn, which allowed for some very flattering lighting opportunities.

Movement is a great way to add variety to your posing.

Bringing movement into the shoot helps to take the stress off of holding a pose and allows for a much more natural and candid image.

Every business aims to solve a problem, and many do it well. The most successful businesses are keyed into the client experience — how it feels to be connected to their brand. When faced with a number of qualified options, clients will choose the brand that just feels right. A personal branding photo shoot will put you on the path towards creating a brand that speaks to your audience and leads to more conversions.
