We cater our approach to the specific messaging of each client. Whether you want to blend your headshots into your existing brand identity or remake your image entirely, we'll make sure to align our approach with your vision.
During our initial consultation, we'll review your current assets, discuss your goals and the image you want to project, and talk through the best approach.

We've nailed down scope -- now it's time to source crew and locations.
For company headshots, we'll be capturing photos for some or all of your staff and leadership. We'll work with your marketing team to nail down the style and direction, decide on appropriate locations, and finalize the shooting schedule.
High-volume shoots may span multiple days and/or involve multiple NYC corporate headshot photographers from our team to ensure an efficient flow.
Executive portraits involve the most customization, as these shoots go beyond just a conventional headshot. We'll work with you to define the style and tone you want to achieve, and identify what leadership qualities each executive should project.
Once locations are finalized, we'll collaborate on a shot list to ensure that you come away with a versatile suite of visual assets for all of you marketing needs. We may recommend working with our corporate stylist to achieve the desired wardrobe look.

On the day of the shoot, we'll arrive to the location early to load in and set up any necessary lighting and background equipment. If you booked our hair and makeup services, they'll get started with your team while we prep the location.
Just before your session, we'll provide you with an overview of what to expect and share some general tips on pose and expression. We provide constant direction (and comic relief) as needed throughout the shoot — we promise it won't be as painful as you think!
Our hair and makeup artist will be present throughout the shoot for any needed touchups or wardrobe adjustments.
We work tethered to a laptop, which allows you to review and select images in real time. No surprises after the shoot — you’ll leave your session feeling confident about what we captured.

After the shoot, we'll edit the images and create a proofing gallery for each participant. You'll use this gallery to select your favorite images for retouching. All images will be available for download with standard edits applied, though your final selects will receive additional high-level retouching.
Our retouching team will work closely on the images to remove any temporary blemishes, tame flyaways, soften dark circles, and make other general enhancements. The primary directive here is to stay authentic — the retouched headshot should look like you on your best day, but it should still look like you. We won't fundamentally alter your appearance unless specific requested.
We'll provide all images in full resolution with unlimited usage rights granted in perpetuity. If you need any images sized to specific dimensions, please let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate.

Our Corporate Headshot Photographer Rates
Our corporate headshot photography packages are built on half and full days which typically fall in the $2,500 - $5,500 range. Though each session varies, you can typically expect a half day to include headshots for up to 15 individuals, and a full day to accommodate up to 30 participants.
We quote on a per-project basis depending on volume and included options. If scope warrants, we may recommend having multiple photographers from our team to ensure an efficient workflow.
Many of our clients come to us after working with more budget-oriented options, having found that they needed a more personalized approach. We are not a volume studio — we limit our engagements to ensure that we have the necessary bandwidth to give your brand the attention it deserves.
Though we typically work on larger projects, headshot sessions for individuals and boutiques are made available when scheduling allows. Please get in touch so we can talk through the details!

Of course! We can set up a studio environment in your New York City offices or travel to wherever your company is located. We can also use your workplace as the backdrop to add a branded feel to your headshots.
Need a COI for work done in your building? Johnny Wolf Studio is fully insured and we’ll be happy to provide a COI on request.
If shooting your headshots offsite is preferred, we’ll source a studio space near to your office to minimize travel time and disruption to the workday.
